I'm bacckkk!!

Hi!! I've finally managed to get some length on my nails and I am SO glad to be back! I thought it would be appropriate, for my first post of February, to start with a Valentine's Day polish so today I have Whimsical Ideas By Pam, Sparkly Markaly. There are so many reasons why I love this polish! I love the name, I love the limited edition label (made by Pam's nephew, how cute is that?!) and I LOVE that it is an awesome red, glitter packed jelly. I fell in love with this polish right away because it kind of reminded me of Lynnderella's Ruby Red Ruby, which was the polish that really got me into polish. I still don't own RRR but any time I see something remotely similar I fall in love.

Look at those awesome circle glitters! I don't know why there aren't more polishes with circle glitter, they are so much fun!

I know this picture is kind of blurry but I really wanted to show how textured and awesome this polish looks without top coat. I almost liked it better that way. Also, please excuse my horrendous cuticles, its dry and cold here so they've been kind of a pain to keep up with!

I am really going to try to stay on top of my blog this time around, I'm really motivated now that I'm growing out my natural nails and have an awesome camera! My next step is to make a light box and get my cuticles and photo taking/editing skills in order.

Anyway, what do you think of Sparkly Markaly? What's your favorite Valentine's Day polish?

New Camera + Christmas!!

I just graduated with a dual bachelors of science in Finance and Economics and for my graduation gift my parents got me an awesome new camera! Since my nails are still growing out and are too short to take pictures of, I thought I'd try out the macro setting on some Christmas ornaments so here they are! These were all taken at night with the lights and the tree lights on and no flash.

Update

Hi everyone! I know I've been super MIA for the last few weeks, I've just had a lot going on with classes ending and graduation coming up. I have also been in kind of a funk and feeling really uninspired after I deleted pictures of like 6 different manis. I will be back soon and hopefully back to posting regularly! Please bear with me!

pet post!

Well I was going to do a nail post but my pictures were terrible so I decided to post my dogs in stead. First we have McKenzie, shes our old girl and the alpha female. She's usually not one to play but here I got her rolling around in the grass like a pup. The second one is Muffin. Shes our first baby together. She is such a good dog but can be very onery when she doesn't get her way. Last is Biscuit, hes such a sweet little boy and we love him so much! He loves to play and loves to rough house with Muffin.
